Patrick Anderson, Founder and Executive Chairperson
Patrick L. Anderson is the founder and Executive Chairperson of Supported Intelligence, and is also one of nation’s leading business economists. Mr. Anderson has written over 100 published works, including the just-released Economics of Business Valuation from Stanford University Press. Three of his articles, “Policy Uncertainty and Persistent Unemployment”, “Pocketbook Issues and the Presidency”, and “The Value of Private Businesses in the United States” have each been awarded for outstanding writing from the National Association of Business Economics. Anderson is also the founder and CEO of Anderson Economic Group, one of the leading boutique economic consulting firms in the country. Anderson Economic Group has been a consultant for manufacturers such as General Motors, Ford, DaimlerChrysler, Honda; retailers such as Meijer and Kmart; the University of Michigan, University of Chicago, Michigan State University, and other universities; and the franchisees of Anheuser-Busch, Molson, Coors, Miller, Harley-Davidson, Mercedes-Benz, Suzuki, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, Lincoln, and Avis products. Anderson is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where he earned a Master of Public Policy degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science.
Jeffrey Johnson, VP and COO
Jeffrey Johnson is the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Supported Intelligence. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, including product development, support, and marketing. Mr. Johnson was responsible for the development, testing, and deployment of Version 1.3 of the Rapid Recursive® toolbox (released in October 2014), and now manages the day-to-day operations of Supported Intelligence. Mr. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a minor in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy, both from Michigan State University.
Scott Watkins, Chief Financial Officer
Scott Watkins is the Chief Financial Officer of Supported Intelligence, and the Controller for Anderson Economic Group, LLC. He began his career with Anderson Economic Group in 2001, and has taken lead roles in developing the firm’s operating, financial, and quality assurance policies and procedures. He also manages the firm’s Market and Industry Analysis practice area, and provides consulting and research services to public and private sector clients such as the Project Management Institute, Michigan Retailers Association, Automation Alley, and more than 100 automobile dealerships. Mr. Watkins holds an MBA from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. He also has a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, both from Michigan State University.
Matthew Irey, Chief Technology Officer
Matthew Irey is the Chief Technology Officer of Supported Intelligence, LLC. He is a former IT Executive with Electronic Data Systems/Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services. His last position with HP ES was as a Sales Consultant with the Strategic Sales Center, selling and negotiating contracts at the CIO/CTO-level on ITO outsourcing deals with a min value of $100M USD some exceeding $1B USD. He also has more than 20 years of IT experience in the application, network, hosting and cross functional areas specializing in selling, delivering and supporting top-quality IT solutions for high-profile clients including High Tech, Energy, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Retail, Aviation and Telecommunications. Mr. Irey has recruited and led diverse teams that included nearly 400 cross-functional engineering and solution delivery professionals on multiple billion-dollar accounts both domestic and global (Brazil, Europe, India, China, Kuala Lumpur, North America). His list of clients includes Symantec, Vale, ABN AMRO, Kraft, Weyerhaeuser, International Paper, Xerox and GM. Mr. Irey holds a Bachelors Degree from Wayne State University as well as Associates in EET and is a certified Lean Six Sigma practitioner.
Anuj Shah, Business Development Strategist
Anuj Shah, a Business Development Strategist with Supported Intelligence is responsible for marketing, sales, and other business development activities. Mr. Shah also frequently assists in software development, model simulation, finance, and other activities when required. Mr. Shah’s work was instrumental in developing the current Supported Intelligence website (launched in September 2014). Prior to joining Supported Intelligence, Mr. Shah worked for Lansing Economic Area Partnership, where he interned as a market analyst, and was a marketing intern at Taj Wellington Mews in Mumbai, India. Mr. Shah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Business, with an emphasis in Hospitality Real Estate Investment Management, from Michigan State University.
Jared Merlo, Product Developer
Jared Merlo is a Product Developer at Supported Intelligence where he is responsible for assisting in the continued development of the Rapid Recursive Toolbox and for designing new economic models using recursive methodology and associated techniques. Jared received bachelor degrees in international relations and management from Michigan State University, where he was involved in research in such areas as economic development, political economy, innovation, and strategy. Before joining Supported Intelligence he did research and consulting work for startups, investors, and firms in areas such as nanotechnology, private equity, and business services.
Neal Anderson, Product Developer
Neal Anderson is a Product Developer at Supported Intelligence. He is responsible for developing Application Packs tailored to client’s needs, improving current applications of the Rapid Recursive® toolbox, and postulating new applications. Mr. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jazz Studies, both from the University of Michigan.
